We had an amazing trip with friends. The hotel's stunning architecture and the spacious Junior Suite made our stay unforgettable. We explored the nearby Roman ruins and enjoyed the bustling plaza just outside. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety to start our day right.
However, we faced some challenges with parking, as it wasn’t clearly communicated how we could access the hotel given the street restrictions. It took us a while to figure it out, which was frustrating.

missingWrote a review on Oct 10breakfastbar area
i almost gave this hotel a good review, but my stay was marred by awful breakfast, it was underwhelming, no taste whatsoever. also, the bar area has no soul, just like my visit here. i expected at least a complimentary drink to make up for these disappointments but, obviously, that would have been too much to ask. how disappointing!

Tales from the unexpected
A stunning hotel set in a vibrant square. The breathtaking atrium served as the perfect backdrop for breakfast. Fantastic staff were always ready with a smile and helpful tips for nearby attractions. Nightly walks allowed us to savor local dining, but do brace for some plaza noise. Valet parking was efficient yet a bit pricey.

Couple looking for a cozy hideaway
The staff was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. It was so nice to have a kettle in the room with tea and coffee, perfect for a warm drink after a long day of wandering around.
It wasn't exactly wallet-friendly but still reasonable for what we got.

Location directly facing the Plaza de España provides easy access to the city's Roman sites and local attractions. The rooftop pool with luxurious loungers offers a great place to unwind after a day exploring.
Significant noise disturbances from both the plaza and internal atrium can disrupt sleep, especially at night. The air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, leading to uncomfortable nights during heat waves. Breakfast quality fell short of expectations, with long waits for food and items running out by peak times. Valet parking at €20 per night felt overpriced, considering limited local options and the hassle of finding space. Additionally, several amenities like bathrobes were missing, which is disappointing for a hotel of this caliber.

great stay with thoughtful touches
The room setup for our cat was a delightful surprise, complete with a litter tray and cat bed. The powerful hot shower was amazing, providing a top-notch experience after a long day of exploring. I also appreciated the beautiful city view from our room, which enhanced our overall enjoyment.
The evening noises from nearby bars could be bothersome at times.

It was just a top selection for a short stay in Merida with excellent value for money. I really enjoyed the beautiful historic architecture, which made the stay memorable. Look for local bars nearby for better service than at the hotel.

Our room was beautifully appointed with a coffee maker and plenty of hot water for a refreshing shower. Windows that blocked out all the noise from the lively plaza. I loved relaxing in the rooftop pool and sun terrace after a long day of exploring the city. A minor hiccup was the slightly cramped bathroom, but it didn’t take away from our overall great experience! 🌞
